Academic Study:
Complete two years of academic study and successfully pass all required examinations.
Work Practice Programme:
Complete two Work Practice Modules comprising of 8 work-based tasks, two training plans and have two years full-time (3,360 hours) of relevant work experience in an accounting environment.
The Work Practice Programme requirements are based on the ATI curriculum areas and learning. It will equip those who complete the work-based modules with an array of transferable business skills and a technical knowledge of accounting practices. The Work Practice Module requirements map to specific learning outcomes within the first year curriculum modules Financial Accounting and Business Management. The Advanced Work Practice Module requirements map to specific learning outcomes within the second year curriculum modules Advanced Financial Accounting and Financial Data Management.
Be actively working in an accounting related role. If you are currently employed, the work experience you have gained to date will count toward the 3,360 hours requirement.
Enlist a workplace Mentor who must be a fully qualified accountant or have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Accounting Technician. The Mentor is appointed by your workplace and approved by ATI.
The Work Practice Module is €120/£100, and the Advanced Work Practice Module is €120/£100. The Modules can be purchased separately or together.

Fees can be paid in full via our registration portal using a credit/debit card or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). If your employer or a funding body is sponsoring your studies, an invoice can be generated during registration.
We also offer a payment plan with three instalments, including a 3% administrative fee. Select this option during registration to avail it, a credit/debit card is required to process the instalments.
