Training Support Executive

 

The overall objective of the role of Training Support Executive is to coordinate and administrate work-place training for the Accounting Technician Apprenticeship. The Training Support Executive ensures efficient workflows, clear communication, and effective student, employer and college work-based training support across ATI’s apprenticeship programme in ROI.

 

The role reports directly to the Apprenticeship Lead, working closely with the Training Support Officer & Assessment Lead.

 

The Training Support Executive has responsibility for the following areas

1. Employer Engagement and Support

· Support employer recruitment by managing the candidate application & programme registration processes (Stage 1 & 2)

· Maintain records of applicant progress in real-time and track and confirm offers to applicants

· Support the authorising of employers and registering and onboarding of apprentices

· Co-ordinate and support monitoring visits with employers & apprentices

· Support the co-ordination of regular employer and college communication and check-ins

· Coordinate the publication of apprentice training and academic assessment results for employers

2. Mentor Training & Development

· Coordinate and support the administration of regular workplace and college mentor training

· Coordinate the updating of mentor training resources and materials in line with programme developments

3. Programme Scheduling and Communication Administration

· Annual Total Programme Schedules for Work place and College Mentors

· Assessment Scheduling and Reporting

· WBA webinars and Moodle page updates.

· Send reminders and programme notifications including webinars; moodle and training assessments

4. College Mentor Liaison

· Engage regularly with academic partners delivering the off-the-job learning component of the apprenticeship programme

· Coordinate joint sessions with college and employer mentors where needed

· Provide an annual key dates schedule college programme teams

5. Work-Based Assessment Coordination

· Provide apprentices with preparation resources and clear submission instructions.

· Communicate with apprentices ahead of work-based assessment submission deadlines to provide guidance and support.

· Manage apprentice queries through e-mail, Freshdesk & phone

· Maintain detailed records of apprentice training progress & queries.

6. Work-Based Learning Quality Assurance

· Support the administration of annual QA visits with employers

· Coordinate documentation and reports for employer site visits

· Monitoring Student forum attendance and feedback

· Maintain detailed quality records of on- the-job training cycle feed-back; including apprentice progression and performances, employers, college and work place mentors and work place examiners.

· Support reporting findings to Quality Assurance to ensure consistent quality assurance practices are met

· Progress reporting on apprentices outcomes to SOLAS, National Funding agency& NAO.

Person specification

Essential Criteria:

· Further Education or Higher education post- secondary qualification or equivalent

· 2 + years office experience, preferably hybrid, using Microsoft 365 suite

· Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively

· Ensure accuracy in documentation, data entry, and report

· Good communication

· English Language Proficiency

Desirable Criteria:

· Familiarity with CRM platforms

· Proven ability to multi-task

· Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
