Glenn Keating R.I.P

It is with immense sadness that we share the news of the passing of Dublin musician Glenn Keating, loving husband of Leda Egri, ATI’s Education Delivery Team Lead and doting father to sons Arlo & Llewyn. Glenn passed away peacefully with Leda by his side on Wednesday morning, the 4 March 2026. Farewell Arrangements

Glenn was diagnosed with Stage IV bowel cancer in 2020. Despite undergoing multiple courses of chemotherapy and other treatments, Glenn continued to perform and record music.

Tributes from across the Irish music industry have been paid to Glenn, a talented multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound designer, who was known for his work with acts like Jape, Bell X1 and HousePlants.

Last April, BellX1 released a video for their track Spacewalk to coincide with Daffodil Day, inspired by Glenn’s cancer Journey. A beautiful piece of work well worth watching:

Glenn spoke of being immensely proud of having been commissioned by the St. Patrick’s Day Festival in 2016 to compose an original work, which took inspiration from the Cathedral’s Bell Ringing and Evensong traditions and was performed in St Patrick’s Cathedral, for the 21st Anniversary of the Festival. We will all remember him fondly on the 17th this year.

Glenn has enriched and touched the lives of so many people including his old and new ATI family and friends and of all the wonderful tributes to him so far perhaps ‘One of the good guys’ says it all.

Rest in peace Glenn, ATI Team
